About Amy

Amy Walsh is a Visual Artist living and working in Dublin. Amy works primarily video, photography and digital media. Amy also works as a lecturer on the BA in Fine Art at Dublin Institute of Technology.

In August 2012 Amy took part in the In The Tent project with GradCAM at dOCUMENTA (13). During her time at dOCUMENTA (13) she hosted a series of events at the Robin Kahn Tent and made a series of art works exploring themes of hospitality and occupation with fellow artists and researchers Aislinn White and Beatrice Jarvis. All work can be seen on the website In The Tent.

Amy recently took part in a residency with the Bundannon Trust in NSW Australia during November and December 2012. Amy is currently working an a new body of work which she started making while she was on this residency. Below is an image from this new body of work called Songlines.
